Hello everybody! I will start with my favorite place. I’m thinking I have two favorite places, one is more touristic, and the other is for relaxing and feeling comfortable. Let’s begin with the first one. The city of "Rome". I have been spent 5 complete days in that city, and I feel like I never finish to know all the places. While you’re traveling into the city center, you can feel the history go up above every building and place. Literally in every corner, there are monuments, old buildings, and amazing constructions. I took several tours through the city, and I knew that the reason "Rome" is an open book of histories is because, since centuries, every civilization has built empires, and a lot of ethnics and cultures were mixed in that city. You have the Roman Empire's histories, Catholicism's histories, and all his art museums, etc. It's a city where you don't want to spend time in stores or shopping, the entertainment is outside in the streets. At night, you can go to some restaurant or bar and order a "Carbonara Pasta" (It's traditional pasta from Rome) or some Pizza, and then you can also drink an Aperol (The traditional drink in this part of Italy). I'm planning to visit one more time in the future. I love this city.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite places is my grandparents' house because I spent much of my childhood there with them. The house has a big garden with different plants and fruit trees, like orange, lemon, tangerine, and plum trees. Nowadays, my grandmother lives there with a dog I gave her a few years ago, and I visit them very often.
ReplyDeleteAs for other places, speaking of countries, I recently got Italian citizenship, so I hope I can visit Italy in a few years, especially to explore and learn about the places where my ancestors lived in the north before coming to Argentina.
Hello Fabio, congratulations for your new citizenship. I also have an italian citizen from the north of italy, it’s a small village call Pinerolo, near to Turin. I want to visit this place next year. Where city/village are your ancestors from?
DeleteHello Renato, how interesting! My ancestor came from Somano, a small town that nowadays has a population of less than 400 people.
